PROFILE

Mr Inusah Mohammed is the Principal Assistant Clerk to the Social Cluster of Committees of Parliament which consist of Committee on Health, Employment, Social Welfare & State Enterprises, Education, Youth, Sports, Art and Culture, Gender & Children and House Committee. He has served as a Clerk to several other Parliamentary Select Committees including Public Accounts Committee, Mines and Energy, Defence and Interior, Youth and Sports, Foreign Affairs, Food and Agriculture and Local Government and Rural Development over the past 22 years. He served as the clerk to the Committee on Justice and Human Rights of the Pan African Parliament in South Africa from 2007-2008. Mr. Inusah Mohammed has served as an Administrator at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly prior to joining Parliament of Ghana in 1999. He is currently the Principal Assistant Clerk to the Social Cluster of Committees of Parliament. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Philosophy and the Study of Religions from the University of Ghana and an Executive Master's in Public Administration from GIMPA. He is the President of the Parliamentary Muslim Staff Association and Secretary to the Muslim Caucus of Parliament. He is the Vice Chairman of the Zakat and Sadaqa Trust Fund of Ghana and the acting General Secretary of the National Muslim Conference.
