National Muslim Conference (NMC) of Ghana is a body corporate that serves as the Mouth Piece of all Muslims in Ghana and a forum for deliberations and participation of Muslims in the development of National Policies, Programmes and Legislations affecting the lives of Ghanaian Muslims in general. This include matters relating to Education, Health, Finance and Economic Empowerment as well as issues affecting the general wellbeing of Ghanaian Muslims.
To provide a common platform for Ghanaian Muslims to deliberate and participate in the formulation, legislation, and execution of National Policies and Programmes affecting the lives of Ghanaian Muslims and to provide institutional mechanisms for self-governance.
To be recognized nationally and globally as the legitimate and credible Organization representing the Aspirations of all Muslims in Ghana.
The Conference is to provide a common platform or a forum for Muslims in Ghana to deliberate on matters of common interest in relation to Education, Health, Financial and the general wellbeing of Muslims in Ghana. To serve as a mouthpiece to engage government and other recognized bodies and institutions on matters relating to Education, Health and Finance of Ghanaian Muslims. To undertake research on suitable educational, health and appropriate financial instruments to enhance the spiritual and material needs of Ghanaian Muslims. To facilitate for the acquisition of lands and properties suitable for the construction of infrastructural needs of Ghanaian Muslims. To represent Muslims in the process of formulation and implementation of national policies on education, health and finance in Ghana. Provide and facilitate funding of educational, health and financial infrastructure and services in Ghana. To mobilise human, material and financial resources of Muslims for the efficient and effective implementation of the objective of the Conference. To set standards and guidelines for the management of Muslim educational, health and financial facilities in Ghana. Register with Standards Authority, the Ghana Education Service, Ghana Health Service, the National Accreditation Board, Food and Drugs Authority and other relevant bodies for the purpose of certifying Muslim and other institutions purporting to be providing Halal products and services in Ghana. The National Muslim Conference shall progressively work towards the establishment of the Ghana Muslim Education Service, the Ghana Muslim Health Service and the Ghana Muslim Financial Service to cater for the needs of Ghanaian Muslims.
