Hajj Baba indicated that NMC was an umbrella body for Muslim groups in Ghana and emphasized the importance of unity among Muslims in order to enable us to strongly advocate for our fair share of national resources. He highlighted the NMC's role as an institutional mechanism to facilitate developmental support from government, embassies, and other stakeholders for Muslim communities in Ghana. He further explained that the NMC aims to establish and strengthen existing institutional mechanisms such as the Islamic Education Unit under the Ghana Education Service, Ghana Muslim Health Service, and Muslim Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It also aims to solicit resources and garner support from both local and international partners.

In response, the Saudi Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the visit and acknowledged the efforts of the NMC. He affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is committed to serving all people, both Muslims and non-Muslims alike, and is open to collaboration with various organizations. He stated that the Kingdom's support would be extended through diplomatic channels and government agencies. The ambassador highlighted that Saudi NGOs now operate under the umbrella of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and the Saudi Fund for Development. These organizations aim to alleviate suffering and provide development assistance to those in need worldwide.

The ambassador also expressed satisfaction with the fact that the National Chief Imam serves as the overall head of the NMC. This ensures effective coordination of activities within Muslim communities and underscores the importance of a unified approach.

The visit to the Saudi embassy marks a significant step in the NMC's efforts to foster collaboration with diplomatic missions and international organizations for the betterment of Muslim communities in Ghana. Through partnerships and shared goals, the NMC aims to enhance the socio-economic well-being of Muslims in the country and contribute to the overall development of the nation.
